The L.H. Bowden Leadership Development Conference has been training LDA leaders to work effectively within the association for 47 years. Registration is free, and attendance is COMPULSORY for component officers as well as for LDA officers, directors, and committee chairs. The LDA is offering mileage reimbursement to all compulsory attendees, and hotel reimbursement (one night) for those traveling from 100 miles away or more.

Topic: "The 4 Phases of Attitude"
Course Description - Experience the levels of emotion and attitude change that we all go through in each and every project and relationship we enter. Learn how to identify and monitor these attitudes in ourselves and those around us. Learn to set goals which will aid us controlling our commitment levels as we progress in a positive direction throughout our lives.

Steve Morgan is a Motivational Speaker and Consultant. He graduated from USL in Lafayette, La., with degrees in personnel management and psychology. He has been a top performer with Carlson Learning Company since 1981 and was selected “The Most Promising New Human Resources Development Trainer” in 1983.
Steve has been engaged by several Fortune 500 companies to help motivate their employees to increase productivity and enhance communications and teambuilding. Some of his clients include Chase bank, The Federal Judicial System, Chrysler Corporation, and the United States Air Force. He has entertained and delighted audiences throughout the United State since 1980 with an energetic, enthusiastic presentation style, and audiences become a part of each presentation, so they leave excited and readily equipped to take on new challenges.

FROM THE WEST: Follow I-10 east to exit #158 (College Drive) on the right. At the end of the offramp, follow the signs labeled ''Constitution Avenue'', which will direct you across College Drive without turning (Constitution Avenue is the I-10 service road). Continue on Constitution Avenue for 1/4 mile, hotel is on the right.
FROM THE EAST: (I-12 West joins I-10 West in Baton Rouge): Follow I-10 West to exit #158 (College Drive) on the right. At the end of the offramp, turn left onto College Drive. Immediately past the I-10 overpass, turn left onto Constitution Avenue (Constitution Avenue is the service road to I-10). The hotel is 1/4 mile on the right.
