Mark your calendars and pack your bags because the LDA’s heading to Park City, Utah. The winter C.E. destination meeting (held over Mardi Gras) will offer C.E. and special rates for a ski vacation. Special rates will be good before and after the meeting dates. What a great opportunity for a tax write off ski trip.

Group rates are only available with a C.E. registration. All rates quoted are based on single or double occupancy.Total room taxes and fees are currently 12.08%.
A deposit of two (2) nights is taken at the time of booking. This deposit is refundable if notice of cancellation is received at least thirty (30) days prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained. Late arrivals, early departures, and no-shows are non-refundable. Balance is due at check out. Please note that your special rate is valid 3 days before and days after your group dates.

Silverado Lodge ($20/night):

Sundial Lodge ($20/night):

Lift Tickets and Ski Rental:
Guests will be able to purchase Lift Tickets at a discounted group rate. Guests will receive 1 voucher per person at check-in or during the meeting registration. Once you have your voucher, you will go to the lift ticket office and pay for the number of days you would like to purchase. Please note that if you would like to purchase your lift tickets in advance, you will not receive the discounted rate and you will not be able to exchange them at the time of arrival for the discounted vouchers. Saturday, Feb. 25 - "Nutrition...Oral and Systemic Affects and Interface" with Dr. Maryanne Butler, M.S.
Course Description - Medical and dental care has advanced significantly in the past 20 years. Patient care has changed directions from the comprehensive, integrated approach to discipline-based care. As doctors and patients focus more on each individual discipline, the team loses site of the effects that all systems have on each other. This 2 day seminar series will discuss the common factors in all chronic oral and systemic disease processes. In addition, we will how oral diseases can influence the progression of systemic diseases and vice versa. We will also discuss the influence that nutrition has on overall systemic and oral health as well as the effects of nutrition on the healing processes.
Course Objectives - Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:
- Recognize the 3-4 factors common in all chronic systemic and oral diseases.
- Determine when and why oral factors affect systemic health and vice versa.
- Discuss how things heal and why things don’t heal properly.
- Recognize how chronic disease and inflammation affect healing.
- Recognize the role of proper nutrition in the healing process.
- Develop a plan for the individual office to screen, discuss, and implement more integrative dental/medical care.
Dr. Maryanne Butler is a periodontist specializing in periodontal disease, oral medicine, and dental implants. She has a passion for education, the oral systemic link to periodontal health, and oral medicine. Dr. Butler has been voted 5280 “Top Dentist” 2009-2016 for best Periodontist in the area. She has also recently been voted “Top 40 under 40” dental professional in the nation by Incisal Edge Magazine. Dr. Butler enjoys balances her professional life with her three young children and husband. They enjoy all things outdoors and photographing their journey.

Monday, Feb. 27 - "A Proven Way To Pay Less Taxes" with Dan Romance
Course Description - During this lecture, Dan Romance will discuss how a dental professional earning an above average income, but who may be struggling with advanced tax planning, can find deductions beyond the status quo. He will also discuss ways dentists can legally reduce their tax bills so they can retain more of their incomes, which affords them greater control over the income they earn.
Course Objectives - Upon completion of this course, attendees will have a better understanding of:
- Their legal right to pay the minimum in taxes.
- Strategies vs. Deductions.
- The importance of documentation.
- The difference between CPA’s and tax saving professionals.
A veteran tax saving consultant at Tax Saving Professionals, Dan Romance has provided valuable tax saving advice to clients since 2008. Dan has a wide and diverse client base, although he's developed a very successful niche in the dental industry, serving both small and large dental practices across the country. A graduate of McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, Dan's earlier career track includes extensive experience in the specialty retail arena with affiliations with two of the nation's largest retail chains.
