Bowden Leadership Conference

The L.H. Bowden Leadership Development Conference trains LDA leaders to work effectively within the association. Registration is free, and attendance is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for component officers as well as for LDA officers, directors, and committee chairs. The LDA is offering mileage reimbursement to all compulsory attendees, and hotel reimbursement (one night) for those traveling from 100 miles away or more.

Speaker Information

Sarah W. Anderson owns SWA Law LLC and LegallyCyber.com, representing public and private entities on cyber incident responses, regulatory compliance, the implementation of enhanced cybersecurity practices, and contract negotiations involving technology products and services, while also conducting cyber law training across the Gulf Coast. Sarah participated in countless cyber incident responses, advising leaders and technology professionals about preventing and mitigating liability before, during, and after a cyber incident. Prior to founding SWA Law, Sarah was in-house counsel with a technology non-profit and a partner in a regional law firm, representing fortune 500 companies in toxic tort and property litigation. Sarah graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia and graduated cum laude from Louisiana State University Paul M. Heber Law Center. Sarah is a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army Reserves and is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Texas. Sarah is the former Cyber Law Judge Advocate for the Louisiana Army National Guard and legal liaison for the Louisiana Cybersecurity Commission.
