Event Description

This seminar helps provide last minute continuing education hours to dentists and their staff. Typically, this 7 hour clinical course is held the second Friday in December. It’s one of our most well attended events each year.

Topic

Pediatric Dentistry for the General Practitioner

Bio

Dr. Cohn is a general dentist, devoted solely to the practice of dentistry for children. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1991 and then went on to complete a post-graduate internship in Pediatric Dentistry. Since then, Dr. Cohn has devoted herself to the care and treatment of children only. She maintains a private practice at Kids Sleep Dentistry Winnipeg and Kids Dental in Winnipeg, Canada. Dr. Cohn is a partner, and has surgical privileges at Western Surgery Centre, a private surgical clinic. In addition to private practice, she is a part time clinical instructor, in Pediatric Dentistry at her alma mater, Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba. She is a member of several dental organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Speakers Bureau, Catapult Education Speakers Bureau, Pierre Fauchard Academy, International College of Dentists, Manitoba Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Winnipeg Dental Society, Canadian Dental Institute, Manitoba Dental Alumni Association and is founder of Lit Smile Academy.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds and Cancellation Requests
To receive a refund, all requests must be postmarked or sent no later than the day before each meeting begins. You may send your request to jeanne@ladental.org or fax to (225) 926-1886. Registration and course cancellation/refund requests must be in writing.

Cancellation Requests prior to Early Registration Deadline (see specific meetings for specific dates)

Refund requests for registration will be granted a full refund, less a $15 processing fee. The request must be received on or before each meeting's early registration date.
Exceptions will not apply.

Cancellation Requests between Early Registration Deadline and the day before your meeting begins

Refund requests for registration fees will be granted a 50% refund less a $15 processing fee. The request must be received no later than 4 p.m. on the day before your meeting begins.
Exceptions will not apply.

No cancellation requests or refund requests will be accepted or granted after the scheduled start to any meeting. This includes cancellations due to illness, late arrivals, weather, parking difficulties or any other reasons.
