Title: Dental Composites-- from Class IIs to 3D Printed Crowns

Course Objectives:

1. Recall the historical origins of operative dentistry;
2. Understand resin chemistry and be able to detail the purpose of the Hybrid Layer and its significance to adhesive dentistry;
3. 
Be informed in Selective Enamel Etching and its significance in the success of all Resin Restorations;
4. 
Become more familiar with topics such as deep margin elevation and partial coverage restorations and how they relate to Operative Dentistry;
5. 
Understand the difference between milled and 3D printed resin and resin hybrid indirect restorations;
6. 
Be able to detail the appropriate case selection, material selection and luting agent for CAD/CAM composite materials

Title: TMD: What's New, What's Not.

Course Description: Orofacial pain is very common including "TMJ" disorders. The etiology and treatment for "TMJ" remain controversial, especially when trying to comply with evidenced based treatment. A thorough evaluation should establish a specific diagnosis for which appropriate treatment can help our patients. This presentation will welcome participant feedback as to best treatment options. 
Course Objectives:
1. Learn how to do a thorough evaluation for the many facets of TMD
2. Understand how precise conservative treatment will help most patients 
3. Explore why some traditional TMJ treatments may actually be contraindicated in patients with airway and apnea issues.
4. Appreciate how appropriate TMD treatment can be fun, rewarding, and dramatically improve lives of many of our patients.

Title: Application of AI in Restorative Dentistry

Course Description: AI is the new buzzword in almost every aspect of our world. What is AI and what role does it presently, and in the future, play in dentistry? Dr. Tomaro will share with attendees how Artificial Intelligence is changing dentistry; as clinicians, how we as healthcare providers benefit, and more importantly, how our patients will benefit. The daily applications of AI in the office.

  • What role will AI play in the future of dentistry?
  • What is the application of AI in today's dental office?
  • The business application of AI in the dental office
