Dentists' Day at the Legislature
We don't have a future date planned yet, but LDA members will receive an email when we have a date! We'll also update this page, our events page, and our social media.
The entire dental team is invited to attend Dentists' Day at the Legislature. Dentists' Day is a grassroots event celebrating the dental profession that offers dentists the opportunity to meet their lawmakers. After visiting with your legislators, don't forget to enjoy the reception, with food, music, and fun!
You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of your registration. If you do not receive an email, check your junk folder. Be sure to mark all email addresses from the LDA/ADA as safe senders.
Schedule of Events
| 2 PM | Briefings at State Library of Louisiana (Walking distance from the Capitol) 701 N 4th St. Baton Rouge, LA 70802 |
| 4:30 PM | Visit House and Senate chambers and leave notes for legislators |
| 5:30 PM or upon adjournment | Reception for dentists, guests, and legislators at Pentagon Barracks |

We will have printed copies available for you at the event.
Parking
Parking is available all around the Capitol buildings, but may be unreliable.
We recommend that attendees park in the free parking lot across the street from the Pentagon Barracks. This lot runs parallel with the train tracks and the river.
