SB 2: Fluoride Ban Bill Makes Headlines
Senate Bill 2 is a contentious piece of legislation that would effectively ban community water fluoridation in Louisiana. The LDA and the ADA value the years of evidence showing that fluoridation is a safe and effective public health measure, so we are fighting this bill. Because this bill has ties to the Make America Healthy Again campaign championed by U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., this bill has garnered much media attention. Take a look at a few of the media organizations who have reported on this bill.
